Día de Muertos Reserva

BARREL AGED DROP

DARK CHOCOLATE • ROASTED ALMOND • VANILLA

Washed Chiapas coffee aged 21 days in a genuine Espolòn Añejo tequila barrel.

Día de Muertos Reserva returns. Built around the traditions of Mexico’s Día de Muertos, this annual release is our celebration of remembrance, craftsmanship, and raising a cup to those who came before us.

This year’s coffee comes from Chiapas, Mexico, a region known for producing sweet, structured coffees with plenty of depth. Fully washed before making its way to us, it gives us the clean foundation we want before taking the coffee somewhere completely different.

Before roasting, the green coffee spends 21 days aging inside a genuine Espolòn Añejo tequila barrel. Espolòn Añejo is a Mexican tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave, and the barrel brings another layer of character to the coffee as it rests: oak, caramelized sweetness, vanilla, and a subtle warming quality that works naturally with the deeper flavors already present in the cup.

We roast Día de Muertos Reserva to a medium profile, keeping the coffee and barrel in balance rather than letting one overpower the other.

Dark chocolate leads with deep, rounded sweetness. Roasted almond brings warmth and body through the middle, while vanilla carries into a smooth, lingering finish. Underneath it all, the Añejo barrel adds subtle oak, caramel, and warming spice.

The result is rich, balanced, and unmistakably barrel aged while still tasting like coffee first.

A cup for remembering. A cup for celebrating. A cup worth raising.
