Smashed Pumpkin Latte! How to make our signature fall syrup
The fall weather is starting to roll in on the Kings Coast and one of our highly anticipated flavors is the Smashed Pumpkin latte. There's just something about these spices that pair extremely well with our Countach Blend.
Pumpkin Spice is quite polarizing, we swore for the longest time we'd never do it, but we finally caved in. Most Pumpkin lattes taste way too sweet or almost artificial. Our house made syrup really balances quite nicely and will have you feeling festive all fall long!
- 1 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 2 Cups of Water
- 1 Cup of Pumpkin Puree
- 1 teaspoon each of Clove, Ginger, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Allspice
Combine and stir all ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a boil and quickly reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes and enjoy the aromas that will begin to make your kitchen smell incredible! Strain the syrup through a mesh sieve and store in your refrigerator. The syrup will stay for about 10 days, but chances are you'll use it all up before it goes bad anyways!
