The Downeaster is a workhorse of a blend, relying heavily on the sum of all parts equally pulling on the same rope to produce an excellent cut of coffee in any brewing method. Where Downeaster truly shines is espresso, this is our "West Coast" style espresso profile. Bright, full of punchy fruit notes and a caramel sweetness. This velvety smooth shot is excellent in a cortado or straight up on its own. For those who prefer a lighter style espresso, look no further than the Downeaster.

Recommended Preparation: 19-gram dose in, 25-30 second pull, 40-gram extraction out
